Gahan Wilson's Haunted House
Microsoft Home teamed up with the Judson Rosebush Studio to create this game based on the art of famous cartoonist, Gahan Wilson. They needed someone who could illustrate and animate in the Gahan Wilson style. That's where I came in.

The Menagerie
Using Gahan Wilson's style sheets, I illustrated and animated the 12 rooms and the main characters. Secondary characters were left up to me to design. Created in 1995, it was a challenge working within the limitations of only 24 Director channels.

The Monster Lab
If players collect the right body parts, they can build their own monster. I designed the individual parts so that they could be placed interchangeably on any monster body. If the player is successful, the monsters will come to life and dance.

The Curses
Play poorly and you may become cursed. The cursor may behave unexpectedly or house darkens using five custom Director palettes. I created the art so that only the eyes of the characters can be seen at the darkest setting.

The Kitchen
Players can use objects to cook up a recipe that will help them win the game. I directed the production artists who created the many game objects to keep them in line with the game's art style and within Microsoft's tolerable level of gore.

The Torture Chamber
The torture chamber becomes more active the longer the game is played and each time you return, you'll meet different monsters. I animated the monsters in each possible torture device. Tortures monsters give the player objects in order to be set free.

The Game Room
Play the games and win to get points that will encourage monsters to give you keys and game objects useful for trading with characters. Play games of chance or games of skill. Play by yourself or a monster may decide to join you.
